Genshin Impact A Muddy Bizarre Adventure Event Unlock Requirements

To unlock the A Muddy Bizarre Adventure event in Genshin Impact, you must have accomplished three things:

Reach Adventure Rank 28
Complete the World Quest “Surreptitious Fragmentation of the Seven Star Seal”
Obtain the Lumenstone adjuvant in the world quest “Chasm Spelunkers” and upgrade it to level 2

There are several Archon and Story quests you need to complete in Inazuma before the “Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering” and “Chasm Spelunkers” world quests become available in Liyue. This basically means that the Muddy Bizarre Adventure event is unfortunately only playable for those who are mostly familiar with the story so far.

If you can participate in the event, head to the Adventurer’s Guild in Liyue then The Chasm to speak with Hosseini to begin A Muddy Bizarre Adventure.

Genshin Impact A Muddy Bizarre Adventure challenges and dates explained

Over the course of five days, five challenges will be available in The Chasm as part of the Muddy Bizarre Adventure event. Every challenge is different, and everyone gets progressively more difficult. You must complete these challenges in order, so you cannot move on to another if you get stuck.

While you only need your Lumenstone Adjuvant gadget at level 2 to participate in the event, it’s recommended that you upgrade it to at least level 4 if you’re having trouble completing the later challenges.

The first Muddy Bizarre Adventure challenge, Transportation Test, is available on the first day of the event, June 22. An additional challenge will be unlocked each day until a total of five are available. You then have until July 4, 4am (server time) to complete all the challenges and claim your rewards.

Recommended Lumenstone Admixture Level: 2

The first challenge as part of the Muddy Bizarre Adventure event tasks you with protecting Pursina’s Spike in The Chasm, while clearing any dark slime you see with your Lumenstone adjuvant. You can charge your Lumenstone Adjuvant gadget in special areas that glow blue around the challenge arena.

Shield Pursina’s Spike until the three-minute timer runs out, or kill all enemies before that to complete the Carry Test Challenge and get x80 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, x2 Prosperity Guide and x4 Prosperity Teachings.

Recommended Lumenstone Admixture Level: 3

For the second challenge in A Muddy Bizarre Adventure, you need to protect Pursina’s Spike as it charges to clear the environment of oozing black slime. If an enemy attacks the spike, the charge will be interrupted and pause for a short time.

You can speed up the charging process by purifying the dark slime around the area while Pursina’s Spike is active, but not if it’s been temporarily disabled by an enemy attack.

Once you complete the automated loading challenge when the peak is fully charged, you will get x80 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, x2 Guide of Diligence and x4 Teachings of Diligence

Genshin Impact Muddy Bizarre Adventure Traffic Theory Challenge and Rewards

Recommended Lumenstone Admixture Level: 4

The third challenge of A Muddy Bizarre Adventure slightly changes the functionality of Purina’s Spike, as you have to defeat the required number of enemies while protecting it from dark mud.

You need to make sure the area around the spike is clear of dark mud or enemies will be much harder to take down, as the spike won’t produce useful shockwaves while in this state.

When you have defeated all enemies in the Traffic Theory Challenge, you will receive x80 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, x2 Guide to Gold and x4 Teachings of Gold

Genshin Impact Muddy Bizarre Adventure Emergency Escort Challenge & Rewards

Recommended Lumenstone Admixture Level: 4

Like similar escort quests in Genshin Impact, the fourth Muddy Bizarre Adventure challenge tasks you with escorting Pursina’s Spike as it floats forward on a hot air balloon.

For this escort quest, you need to clear the dark slime with your Lumenstone adjuvant in addition to defeating surrounding enemies.

Once the peak reaches its destination within the time limit and you complete the emergency escort challenge, you will get x80 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, x2 Prosperity Guide and x4 Prosperity Teachings.

The fifth and final Muddy Bizarre Adventure challenge in Genshin Impact is all about racking up a high score by earning points by clearing dark slime and defeating normal and elite enemy types before the timer runs out. Pursina’s Spike can help you defeat enemies again, and shooting down an elite enemy by yourself, or with the help of the spike, will give you the most points.

The exact rewards for this challenge have yet to be released, but potential rewards listed in the event menu include: Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Guide to Diligence, and Guide to Gold. We will update this page when the exact rewards are known.
