How Fravashi Trees Work in Genshin Impact
While exploring the Sumeru Desert, you will eventually come across small circular trees that will trigger the “Pale Fire” world quest. These trees contain ten Lost Wagers that you need to talk to in order to complete a challenge and continue the quest.
When you encounter a Fravashi tree in Genshin Impact, you must use the Sorush gadget to approach the tree, then press the flower symbol button to use its Khvarena power.
The Bet will then appear inside the tree, so you need to go back to your active character and talk to it.
The Pari will then ask you to complete one of four challenges:
- enemy encounter
- Collect Pari Shards
- Follow the Bet like Sorush
- Collect Udumbara Pistils
Once you’ve completed the required challenge, return to the Fravashi tree and talk to the Pari, and you’ll get a chest and a Purifying Light Plume. These feathers can be used at the Amrita Pool for rewards such as Primogems, level up materials, and unique calling cards.

Genshin Impact Fravashi Tree slot 1
Genshin Impact’s first Fravashi tree is located underground, between the teleport point between the Zulqarnain Gate and the Tunigi Hollow areas. To access it, you must progress through the “As the Khvarena’s Light Shows” section of the “Khvarena of Good and Evil” world quest to obtain the Two-Horned Rosary for your Sorush Gadget.
If you have the Two-Horned Rosary, control Sorush and float to the yellow seal of Amrita blocking your way through the underground tunnel. Hold down the flower symbol button to dispel the seal, then head to the next room, where you’ll find the Fravashi tree below.
The Pari in the tree triggers a battle challenge after talking with it, so simply take out any enemies that spawn, then speak with the Pari after they’re all dead to get your rewards.
Genshin Impact Fravashi Tree location 2
The next Fravashi Tree location in Genshin Impact is above ground in the southwest part of the Tunigi Hollow area, on a small cliff overlooking the hollow. You will naturally encounter him in the “The Anthem of Tir Yazad” section of the “Khvarena of Good and Evil” world quest.
The Pari in this tree also triggers a battle challenge after talking with him, so take out any enemies that spawn, then speak with the Pari after they’re all dead to get your rewards.

The next stop is the Fravashi tree in the northwest section of Tunigi Hollow. It’s above ground, up the cliffs next to the huge Leaning Tree, but you can use Four Leaf Seals to clear your way faster.
The Pari in this tree wants you to collect three Pari shards as Sorush. Here’s where to find them:

The first Pari shard can be found above the Fravashi tree, near the cliff and the tree’s brown roots.

Pari’s second shard in Tunigi Hollow is under the cliff where the Fravashi tree is, near the giant leaning tree.
Tunigi Hollow Pari 3 Fragment Location
You’ll find the final Pari shard inside the giant leaning tree itself, on the same level as the Fravashi tree.
Once you’ve collected all three Pari Fragments, bring them back to the Pari in the Fravashi tree to get your rewards.

The last Fravashi tree above ground in Tunigi Hollow is located on the northeast cliffs, near many scattered roots and a Dendroculus inside a tree trunk.
This Pari wants you to follow him while controlling Sorush, so switch to the gadget and stay near the Pari and he’ll eventually return to the Fravashi tree, where you’ll get your rewards after talking with him again.

Go west of the Temir Mountains region to find this Fravashi tree halfway up a cliff, near many small tree roots.
This is another Pari shard collection challenge, so here’s where to find them while controlling Sorush:

The first fragment of Temir Mountains Pari is found floating above the root of the tree near the edge of the eastern part of the cliff.

Look up at the western cliff to see this fragment floating above.

For the final Pari shard in the Temir Mountains, climb above the Fravashi tree at the top of the western cliff to find the shard next to a four-leaf seal.
Genshin Impact 6 Fravashi Tree Location
Another Fravashi tree west of the Temir Mountains. From the location of the fifth tree, climb up the western cliff and fight your way through the roots of the trees in the middle to find this Fravashi tree.
Another flying challenge awaits you after talking with the Pari, so remember to use Sorush and stay as close to the Pari as possible as he circles around the area to make sure you don’t fail.
Genshin Impact 7 Fravashi Tree Location
The seventh Fravashi Tree location in Genshin Impact is at the bottom of a huge underground cavern containing many large gray crystal structures, west of Tunigi Hollow.
To access the cave, you actually need to enter through a tunnel starting above ground, west of the Asipattravana Swamp.
This is another Pari shard challenge, so head over to Sorush and follow these instructions to find them:
Underground Cavern Pari 1 & 2 Fragment Location
These first two Pari Underground Cavern Fragments are located directly in front of the Fravashi Tree, floating around the large gray crystal structure in the middle.
Underground Cavern Pari 3 Fragment Location
This fragment also floats around the large gray crystal structure, but on the other side of the cavern. You’ll see it when you float to get one of the other shards.
Head back down to the Bet in the Tree to get your rewards once you’ve found all three shards in the underground cavern.

The eighth Fravashi tree is located in the basement between the Samudra Coast and Asipattravana Swamp areas, opposite the huge round door you encounter during the “Khvarena of Good and Evil” world quest. .
The easiest way to find him is to go to the underground teleport point, then jump to the north side.
This is the final Pari Fragment challenge you need to complete in the “Pale Fire” World Quest. Here’s where to find all three shards while controlling Sorush:

The first two Pari fragments of this underground tunnel float above the large round door, left and right.

Turn around and float around to spot this fragment above the Fravashi tree, near the path back to the teleport point.
Genshin Impact 9 Fravashi Tree Location
The last underground Fravashi tree can be found by using the Waypoint teleport north of Tunigi Hollow, then heading southwest to a Hillichurl camp. At the camp, look northeast to spot a small tunnel.
The Fravashi tree is at the end of this small tunnel.
For this Pari challenge, you need to travel to Asipattravana Swamp and collect three Udumbara pistils, then return and give them to Pari.

Genshin Impact Fravashi Tree 10 Location
The very last Fravashi Tree location in Genshin Impact is in the southwest corner of Asipattravana Swamp, near the water.
The Pari wants three pistils of Udumbara, which you can find in this swamp. Visit our Udumbara locations page to find them if you haven’t already collected all six.
