How to Start Murmuring Hollow Relic Ruins at Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores
To start the Murmuring Hollow Relic Ruins in Horizon Forbidden West, you need to use a flying mount to access the hole in the side of the cliff below the ruin. It’s just below where you find the campfire
Now you can access it by jumping from the top and using your Shieldwing to glide through it, but soon you’ll need a flying mount, so it’s easier to get one from the start.
When you land in the opening, you must see a train car on the left side. Head in this And pull the lever in the middle of the train to move it forward.
Once moved, get off the train car And go through the opening in the center of the room. We have marked it on the image below:
Head to this opening and you should see a door that is locked and needs a key. Don’t worry about it for now, it’s for another quest later.
Instead, facing the door and then turn around until you see another wagon further away.
Approach this and force the doors open. The lever inside won’t work as there is no energy cell to power the train, now it’s up to you to find one.
How to find the train energy cell in Murmuring Hollow in Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores
To find the energy cell, return to the first carriage you moved when you first entered the ruin and look at the side of it, you should see an energy cell near the middle of this one.
Take the energy cell And come back through the opening you have already crossed, then almost instantly look to your right. You should see an empty energy cell slot. Put your energy cell here.
Go back to the train in which you just put the energy cell and pull the lever. Once it stops moving, return to where the train was initially stuck and you should now be able to see a locked door.
This the door needs a code to unlock it.
How to find the door code to Murmuring Hollow in Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores
To find the door code, walk back through the area to the locked door that needs the key module.
Face this door, then look left. You should see a data point next to an opening. If you scan the data point, you will find that the code is somewhere at the top.
NOW, return to your flying mount and use them to fly outside and use them to fly over the top of Murmuring Hollow. Here you should be able see a grid covering a hole in the roof.
Fly your mount close to the grid and use the indicated command to get your mount to remove the grid. This will create a hole. Place your mount on the perch then carefully jump in the hole.
In this room, scan the pulse with your focus, then cross to the other side of the room where the old supply box is. Here, look left and you should see the elevator shaft.
Scan the pulse again to highlight climbing holds if you need them, and follow the path up to the next level. When you climb to the next level, after being unable to climb any further, scan the room with your Focus and you should see the data point almost instantly.
Read data pointand you will find that the door code is 1315.
Go back down and insert the code in the door to open it. Once the door is open, you can take the relic on your left and the Murmuring Hollow Relic Ruins will be marked as complete.
However, you’ve probably heard someone call out to you throughout your time in Murmuring Hollow. Once you’ve completed the Ruin, you can start “saving” the voice.
