Rise of the Ronin Bladesmith Boss Battle Strategy
At the end of The Setting Sun mission, you must fight Bladesmith. She is faster than the first boss you fought and her combos can easily kill you if your health is low. Because this time you are fighting solo, you cannot use the other character to attack under the pressure of the boss.
Before the fight begins, try to collect all the Medicinal pills enemy bodies on the ground to s tore them for the duel.
The Bladesmith move set at the start of the fight is quite easy to memorize. She will constantly throw shurikens at you and use thrust attacks. The latter is by far the best time to parry and hit her with a short combo to put pressure on Bladesmith. If you’re not yet comfortable with parrying attacks, try dodging and moving in close to attack him.
The hardest attacks to deal with are when Bladesmith jump and pull her towards you using her grappling hook and she somersault movement. As for the former, it’s difficult to see the animation to properly time the parry, so the best approach is to simply run away from her once she jumps. Dodging to the sides won’t help you here.
Now when it comes to his somersault, dodging is one of your options. However, being hit is not a problem in itself. If t his happens, wait for the animation to end and move away from Bladesmith to heal.
After dropping below 50% of his health bar, Bladesmith begins using new attacks in addition to those previously mentioned. Now she has a three-push attack sequence. Block the first and parry the last to affect its posture. She also has a frontal attack that is easy to avoid.
