How to become Godzilla in Fortnite
To become a life-size Godzilla in Fortnite, you need to find the Godzilla portal which can appear at the start of a match. However, this is a random appearance, so it is not promised to appear in every match and we found that this is also a rare appearance because we played about 20 games and Godzilla only appeared once.
If you are lucky enough to become Godzilla in your match, an alert will appear at the bottom of your screen telling you “Godzilla Portal is Open.”
As soon as you see this, open your map to find the Godzilla icon and go there as quickly as possible. only the first player to enter the portal will become Godzilla. If you can, use a vehicle to increase your chances of arriving on time.
This is the icon you want to monitor on your map:
If you become Godzilla, other players will team up to try to eliminate you. You will be equipped with several useful abilities, in addition to being massive to try to stop them:
- Roar – This reveals all nearby players so you can plan your next attack, they have nowhere to hide!
- heat ray – Burn it all.
- Powerful trample attack – Crush your enemies with your big toes.
However, if someone gets ahead of you, you will see Godzilla come out of the portal and start destroying everything around him. You can either join other players trying to defeat Godzilla, or take cover and hope they won't find you.
There is another way to become Godzilla, but you won't get the abilities or size you will if you use an in-game portal. If you just want to look the part, you can get the Godzilla Evolved and Energized Godzilla skins via the battle pass.
That’s all for now – good luck!
