Drinking from lakes, rivers and ponds

The best way to get water is to drink from a water source like a lake, river or pond. To drink the water here, you must approach it or crouch until the “E” prompt appears. A drink or two should fill your thirst bar very quickly.

Drink energy drinks

We also recommend grabbing as many energy drinks as you can hold, as consuming one not only counts as drinking water, but also as a source of food and rest, slightly filling all of your bars with one. single bobbin. We have found that they are best used when exploring caves, as you never really know if exploring a cave will be a long or short journey.

Eat forage foods like berries and yarrow

It’s not the best way to get water, but we’ve also found that you can also increase your thirst bar very slowly by consuming foraged foods like berries and yarrow. You’ll need to eat a lot to make a difference, but if you find yourself without another source of water, they can stave off dehydration until you find one.

Drink from your bottle

Sons of the Forest Flask Location

To find the flask in Sons of the Forest, you must locate a 3D printer. There are more on the island, but we found one easily in a bunker on the west side, just northwest of the lake into which five rivers flow.

This is a good place to find a printer.

This bunker is also where you need to use one of the keycards and is marked with a green circle on your GPS locator. You’ll know you’re near the bunker when you see a golf cart covered in vines.

Just a short walk through the bunker and you’ll find the 3D printer in a small room near a laptop. Use the laptop until the vial appears on the screen, then hold down the “E” key to print one.

You need 100ml of printer resin to make a bottle on a printer, but there should already be plenty in the printer if this is your first time using it. Otherwise, search the shelves of a room with a printer and you should find some.

Now that you have a water bottle, you can use it at water points to collect water!

The short answer to that is No, the water collector is not in Sons of the Forest. However, it might be added in a future update.
