How to Get Bruxish in Pokemon Go
Bruxish made its first appearance in Pokémon Go on Wednesday, March 8 as part of the Festival of Colors 2023 event.
Here’s how you can catch Bruxish during the Festival of Colors event:
- In nature – Appearing more frequently during the Festival of Colors
- In One-Star Raids – During the Festival of Colors
As you can see from the methods listed above, the easiest way to catch a Bruxish in Pokémon Go is to find one in the wild. Using Incense will help increase your chances of encountering a Bruxish, while the Poké Radar – in the lower right corner – will tell you if one spawns on a nearby PokéStop.
Remember – Bruxish does not evolve, so if you just want to add it to your Pokédex, you just have to catch one. At the time of writing, Brilliant form of Bruxish has not been released neither in Pokémon Go.
If you’re having trouble finding a Bruxish, it’s a good idea to defeat one in a raid. Since Bruxish is a one-star raid Pokemon, you should be able to easily defeat it on your own. Just make sure your team contains counters that take advantage of Bruxish’s weaknesses, and if you want examples, read the next section.
We highly recommend catching Bruxish during Festival of Colors 2023, as at the time of writing, we don’t know what his spawn rate will be once the event ends. It’s possible that, like other recently released Pokémon, it’s hard to find, so it’s worth adding it to your Pokédex while you have the chance.

The Festival of Colors event is currently underway – bringing both Bruxish and Mega Medicham with it! As you continue your Pokémon Go adventure, be sure to face off against Giovanni, the leaders of Team Go Rocket, or in the new season of Go Battle League. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for Kecleon, or if you’ve purchased it, work on the Masterwork Research: Wish Granted quest. Elsewhere, be sure to use Daily Adventure Incense for the chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also allow you to encounter other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

When it comes to Bruxish’s moveset in Pokémon Go, we recommend either Confusion or water gun like quick moves
Unfortunately, it’s important to note that Bruxish doesn’t seem to carry much weight in any form of Pokémon Go PVP, so after catching it for the Pokédex, it will most likely just find itself taking up a spot in your Pokémon storage.

Possible quick moves:
- Bite (dark)
- Confusion (psychic)
- Water gun (Water)
Possible Charged Moves:
