You must use Sincere Thoughts in Infinity Nikki to evolve certain 5-star outfits, if you want to unlock alternative color combinations.
While Evolution doesn't change an outfit's stats, sometimes it's nice to change the appearance of your Infinity Nikki outfits. However, be aware that gaining True Thoughts is a very slow process, so you may have to wait weeks or even months before you can fully evolve some outfits!

How to Get Sincere Thoughts in Infinity Nikki
You need to use your life energy in the Breakthrough Realm to get True Thoughts in Infinity Nikki, and you get x1 True Thoughts every time you challenge this Realm – but keep in mind that you can only get rewards from the Breakthrough Realm only once a year. week.
We recommend challenging this Realm every week, even if you don't need True Thoughts right now, as it's good to stock up for later! This is also where you get calm thoughts from.
The Breakthrough Realm is unlocked during Chapter 7 – “Confrontation with Chigda!” » main quest, which takes place in the Wishing Woods region, and it costs 60 life energy to challenge the Breakthrough Realm.
How to use Sincere Thoughts in Infinity Nikki
To use Heartfelt Thoughts, select the “Evolution” portion of your Pear-Pal menu, then navigate to the 5-star outfit you want to unlock an alternate color scheme for (like Wishful Aurosa or Silvergale's Aria).
Once you have all the other ingredients for evolution (like Bling and Purity Thread), click on the small evolution symbol below where Nikki is standing to change what she is wearing, then click “Evolve” option to use your heartfelt thoughts material and unlock this alternate outfit color palette.
Currently, you just need to use Heartfelt Thoughts to evolve Miracle Outfits. To evolve other 5-star outfits, you usually need Heartshine instead. And if you're looking to upgrade a 4-star outfit, you should generally use Calm Thoughts.
