Sumeru Crafted Weapons in Genshin Impact were added to the game in the 3.0 update, but you need to go through a few steps before you can get these forgeable weapon blueprints.

To unlock the ability to craft the King’s Squire, Sapwood Blade, Moonpiercer, Forest Insignias, and Flourishing Fruit, you’ll need to find a special material called “Stories of You and the Tree.” ‘Aranara’.

However, neither story materials nor the ability to exchange them for Sumeru crafted weapon stories are available as soon as you enter Sumeru, so we’ve detailed how to get sumeru craft weapons below – in the same way how to get ‘Tales of You and the Aranara’ in Genshin Impact.

How to Get Sumeru Crafted Weapons in Genshin Impact

To get Sumeru Crafted Weapons in Genshin Impact, you must complete the “The World of Aranara” part of the World Quest “Aranyaka, Part 2”. To unlock Part 1 of the Aranyaka World Quest, travel to Sumeru, then take the main southern path from Sumeru Town. You will come across Rana at the main intersection that leads to Gandharva Town to the east, and the questline will begin.

When you’ve completed “The World of Aranara”, follow the new “Trees and Dreams” quest marker and head to the nearby cave northeast of Vanarana to find the Tree of Dreams. To the right of the tree is Aravinay.

You can now talk to Aravinay and trade a “Stories of You and the Aranara” for a Sumeru Weapon Story. You can unlock the weapons in any order, so if you really like the look of this Moonpiercer polearm, you can go ahead and spend whatever story you currently have on it!

There are a total of five “Stories of You and the Aranara” to find – one for each Sumeru Crafted Weapon you can purchase in Aravinay.

When you have the story of a weapon, take it to Ahangar, the blacksmith in Sumeru City and select “Learn” on the story itself. Ahangar can now craft the Sumeru weapon for you if you have the required materials.
