How to unlock the Magick Archer in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To unlock the Magick Archer, you must first go to the Agamen Volcanic Island region. This is the last area of the game, and the most dangerous. Although you only access it during the later missions, there is a way to enter the area before then.
Once you arrive in Battahl, instead of depending on completing story missions to access the final area, you can take the Drabnir Cave to get to the volcanic islands region. This cave is located south of Bakbattahl. The road to get there is filled with enemies so remember to prepare yourself before starting your adventure.
Drabnir Cave is not an extremely difficult cave to traverse, but it is home to some tough enemies. Take your time and after finding the exit you will be able to enter the volcanic islands region.
You now need to find Gautstafr, a dwarf who has difficulty moving because of his back. You can find it by following the main road from where you exit Drabnir Cave.
Once you find it, you can start the Put a spring in your step quest. This mission has several stages. First, it requires you to give Gautstafr three flowers. They don’t need to be a specific type, so just give them the ones you already have or look for some Vertwarish Or Pitywort to put back.
Once this step is completed, you must go meet Gautstafr in his house, the The Windwalker’s House. You can easily find him north of where you encounter him, near a potential rift.
Now, in the next phase of this mission, you must escort Gautstafr to Hamlet of Geysers
To complete the mission, you must follow Gautstafr until he ends up in front of the receptionist. Then, his wife, Sounds will appear and teach you the Magick Archer vocation.
