Before you start wondering about the devastated streets of London, however, it is wise to know how to install fallout: londonespecially since this installation is a bit more complicated if you are playing Fallout 4 via Steam. System requirements to install and play Fallout London
Before you consider installing Fallout: London, it is important to make sure you know the requirements to download and play it.
First of all, it’s important to remember that Fallout: London does not not will work with the Epic Games Store versions of Fallout 4 as soon as they are released. For this reason, you you need a Steam or GOG.com version of Fallout 4
Second, you obviously have must own a PC copy of Fallout 4, including all DLCif you want to play Fallout: London. This includes Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and all the Workshop Packs. If you don’t have these, but still want to play Fallout: London, consider purchasing the Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition, as it includes all the DLC.
Fallout: London will also resume 33.8 GBbut you will probably need more space available to safely complete the installation process. For this reason, we recommend that you go through the drive you plan to download the mod to and remove any programs that you no longer need/use.
Finally, it is important to note that, to quote directly from the mod’s GOG store page, “Fallout: London will take complete control of your Fallout 4 installation” And “bring about irreversible changes”. This means that if you want to play Fallout 4: GOTY Edition, you will need to uninstall and then reinstall that version of the game to play it again. You will also need to disable cloud backups.
How to Install Fallout London on Steam
Installing Fallout: London on Steam can be tricky if you don’t know how to do it. However, you’ll need to do it if you want to play Fallout: London using a Steam copy of Fallout 4, but we’re here to help.
You must first make sure that you have a Fallout 4 Steam Copy and then you have to roll this game back to a previous update to ensure compatibility with Fallout: London.
To do this you need to download every part of Fallout 4 version 1.10.163.0, delete your current files
- Type steam://open/console into your browser to tell Steam to open the console.
- Download each part of the previous version of Fallout 4: GOTY Edition by entering the following into the console:

- Tracking executable file usage – download_depot 377160 377162 5847529232406005096
- Then the English version uses – download_depot 377160 377164 2178106366609958945
Now it’s time to download each of the DLCs you own. Remember that you have to do this as These DLCs are required to play Fallout: London:

You’ll be able to Look for these files in separate drop folders in your Steam Library folder (default is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_377160”). The depot folders themselves will have names similar to “depot_377162” which is the Fallout 4 executable file.
Then you need to create a new folder on your desktop into which you will copy the contents of all the folders mentioned above. It is advisable to delete the files you have copied as you go to ensure that you keep enough space on your PC. This will also help you keep track of what you have copied and what you have not. By doing this, you will have created a brand new version of Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
All you have to do is Delete everything in your current Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation folder and replace it with the contents of the new folder you created.
Finally, install Fallout: London via GOG GALAXY, launch it and follow the launcher instructions!
How to install Fallout London on GOG
Installing Fallout: London on GOG is a bit easier than on Steam. You, of course, need to have a GOG copy of Fallout 4 First, but look – there are only four steps to follow!
- Install the English version of Fallout 4: GOTY Edition via GOG GALAXY.
- Get Fallout: London for free in the GOG store.
- Install Fallout: London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
- Follow the launcher’s instructions.
Once that’s done, you can enjoy Fallout: London, whether you’re playing via Steam or GOG!
