Force Learning Abilities at Rift Gates in Fortnite is one of the many challenges you can complete as part of the ongoing “Find the Force” event until Tuesday 23 May. This challenge asks you to find one of the popular Star Wars characters scattered around the map and ask them to teach you what they know about the Force.
During this event in Fortnite, you can also decide whether you want to learn the ways of the Force from a Jedi or a Sith. The choice is yours as both character types can be found in Find the Force.
Without further ado, we’ll show you how to learn strength abilities at rift gates in fortnite.
How to Learn Rift Gate Force Abilities in Fortnite
To learn strength abilities at Rift Gates in Fortnite, you need to find one of the Star Wars holographic NPCs
When a character spawns, their location will be marked with an icon on your map. Obi-Wan and Anakin both sport a similar icon style with a lightsaber in the center. However, Darth Maul’s icon is quite distinctive and you can see it below:
Remember that when an icon appears, you need to quickly access it. If another player gets ahead of you, they will learn strength abilities instead.
Also, if someone else beats you to character and learns force abilities from them, that character will disappear and then reappear somewhere else.
You might also notice that each character teaches you different strength abilities:
- Anakin Skywalker – Uses the Force to pull objects and players towards you.
- Darth Maul – Use the Force to lift objects (rocks) around you and forcefully throw them at enemies. Good for a one-hit kill.
- Obi Wan Kenobi – Use the Force to push enemies and objects away from you.

Once you find your chosen NPCall you have to do is interact with them And accept their offer so that they teach you certain strength abilities. This will then spawn a Rift Gate that you will automatically enter and exit.
Once you return from the Rift Gate, you will have learned some strength abilities and will have a lightsaber in your inventory. You can pick up lightsabers from downed enemies, but you won’t have learned the strength abilities alongside.
To complete this challenge, you will need to need to learn strength abilities in three different matchesyou cannot visit all three characters in one.
