How to make the tanner kit in Runescape Dragonwild

The Tanner kit is an improvement in the tannery in Runescape: Dragonwilds. Building it in your base, ideally near the tannery, will add another slot to the tannery itself and will allow you to make a wider range of items. This includes hard leather, which we cover above.

The problem with the Tanner kit, however, is that it forces to have built a good number of other treatment facilities. Don't worry, however, we will guide you through what you need to do.

First of all, let's take a look at what you need to build the tanner kit:

  • 6 bronze bars
  • 8 coarse
  • 6 adhesive
  • 18 plates of ash

To collect all these materials, you will have to have the wheel, the oven, the furnace and the sawmill. Do not forget – you will unlock these new installations when you collect the materials necessary to build them.

We have guides covering how to make bronze bars and an adhesive. Meanwhile, the coarse wire is made using linen on the rotation wheel.

Obtaining ash boards requires sawmill. There, you can transform a log of ash into two plates of ash. Building the sawmill requires:

  • 18 Ash newspapers
  • 4 bronze bars
  • 8 stones

Once you have gathered all the required resources and builds the four required installations, you can build the Tanner kit.

Finally, you can make hard leather! I hope that the new armor facilitates survival in Ashenfall!
