- Put pressure on an enemy.
- Stun an enemy.
- Defeat all enemies within the time limit.
How to pressure a Thunderclaw in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
To put pressure on Thunderclaw in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you need to inflict a status effect on them once the bar below their health bar is half full.
We found that these spells work best for putting pressure on Thunderclaws:
- Bio – If you attempt this battle when you are first in the Grasslands, equip Red XIII to your party for this purpose.
- Beer
- To protect
- Shelling
Basically, any non-elemental status effect attacks or spells that negatively impact Thunderclaw will put them under pressure.. The type of status effect you can inflict on them will depend on the Materia you have equipped, the amount of MP you need to use, and the point in the story where you decide to face this duo of Fiends.
When we revisited this Demon battle later in the story, we had more options for inflicting a status effect on them than early on in the Grasslands, so if you’re unable to put pressure on them during your first attempts, then we recommend completing the region to collect more Materia, then returning at another time.
