In this last part of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, The game’s vast open world invites exploration, with mountains, valleys and temples hiding secrets. However, traveling long distances can be a challenge without the fast travel system. Here’s how to unlock fast travel and take advantage of transport points in Echoes of Wisdom.
You can check out the full guide for the game via this link.
How to travel quickly
To unlock it, you must progress through the main story to a specific point.
- The first fast travel point is unlocked as part of the main story. After passing along Suthorn Beach, you will reach the Aldéa Suthorn.
- Once in the village, head east past a sign until you find the first fast travel point.
- This first point is a small structure that emits a characteristic yellow glow. By interacting with it, Zelda can go to any other point that she has previously activated on the map.
- As you progress in the game, you will find more “Waypoints”, and all you have to do is approach them and press the button A on the Nintendo Switch controller to activate them.
- The next important “Waypoint” is located in the northeast section of the Suthorn Forest. After facing a group of Moblins guarding a treasure chest, you will find this Waypoint to the right of the chest.
How to use fast travel
Once you activate multiple Waypoints, you can quickly travel between them. To do it:
- Interact with one of the Waypoint statues.
- On the map, select the waypoint you want to teleport to.
- press the button “Chain” to begin the journey.
During the trip, Sorting It will land on Zelda’s head and in a few seconds you will be transported to the selected point. Luckily, traveling between Waypoints doesn’t consume resources, so you can use it as many times as needed.
Fast travel is an essential tool for getting around Hyrule. Enabling and using waypoints will save you time, so remember to keep an eye out for everyone you pass along the way.
