Smuggler’s Hideout Location in Star Wars Outlaws
The smuggler’s hideout in Star Wars Outlaws is west of the Ship Pirate’s Workshop in the Lost Steppe region on Toshara.
However, to get there you need to apply Speed Boost modification to your Speeder by completing the Mechanical Expert mission and the power module for your Blaster by completing the main story quest The Armorer after meeting Queen Ashiga for the first time on Kijimi. If you don’t have it, you won’t be able to access the hideout – so come back later when you have!
If you have it, head to the point we marked on the map below, just west of the Ship Pirate Workshop.
Here you should find an orange ramp. Hop on your Speeder and use the speed boost once you reach the ramp to safely jump to the next area (don’t worry if it takes a few tries, you need to time the boost perfectly to make the jump).
Once you’re safe, dismount your Speeder and follow the path to several climbable walls. Climb them and look to the right when you reach the top, you should see a boulder blocking an entrance here. Use the Power Module attachment on your Blaster to break the boulder.
Head through the small hole in the rocks that appears, then follow the path forward and left. Continue following this path until you come to a fan with a rock to the left of it. Walking up to this fan and blowing up the rock to the left of it completes the “Smuggler’s Hideout” intel chain, but we recommend continuing forward to obtain the treasure hidden inside.
How to Reach the Hidden Mountain Treasure in Star Wars Outlaws
To reach the Mountain Hideout treasure in Star Wars Outlaws, you need to stand in front of the fan you discovered at the Smuggler’s Hideout (the one where we left off in the previous section of this guide!)
Face the fan and you’ll see a switch on the left. Use it to “turn off” the fan, then you can crouch and walk through them once they stop spinning.
Once you’re across, turn back towards the fan, then follow the path to the left. This should bring you to a climbable wall, climb it and then look through the opening here. Next, order Nix to flip the switch on the fan you just crossed so it’s “on”.
Once you’ve done that, head to the door to the right of the fan you just turned back on. You should see that a light above it is green, with two red ones next to it. This means you have two more things to do before you can go through.
While at the door, use Nix Sense to highlight the many tubes leading away from it. Follow the tube down to a lower section opposite the door and it will bring you to a fan partially blocked by a rock. Again, use your Power Module on the Blaster to destroy it.
Once you’ve done that, there’s a light that turns green above the door. To do this, go back to the door, face it, then look to the right. You should see two levers here on either side of a large fan that’s making a few sparks.
All you have to do is order Nix to hold down one lever while you interact with the other to make him go down. Once you’ve done that and the spark fan is on, leave him alone!
The three lights above the door will now be green and you can interact with the panel next to the door to enter.
There are some useful materials waiting for you in this room, but the treasure from the mountain stash is Key part of Circuit Blaster HD005-G in the container at the other end of this room.
