Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Official 20-Minute Gameplay Walkthrough

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland Class List

There are six classes to choose from in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and which one you choose will help determine your fighting style throughout the game.

Here are the six classes you can choose from:

  • Brr Zerker – Focuses on frost and melee damage, ideal for melee combat
  • claw holder – Focuses on fire and lightning damage and has a Wyvern companion
  • Born at the grave – Focuses on dark magic, has a demilich companion and an action skill that sacrifices health to deal dark magic damage
  • Spell – Focuses on spell damage, increases fire rate, and can optionally equip two spells
  • Spore Keeper – Has a mushroom companion and deals gun damage
  • Stabomaner – Alternates between all forms of damage and specializes in critical hits and status effects

A seventh class will also be added during the fourth Season Pass content drop of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

How important is class choice in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

The class you choose during Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands character creation is very important, as this class will be your main class and do not be changed at any time. As you progress through the game (or the campaign, so to speak), you’ll unlock the ability to multiclass and have a secondary class, which you can learn more about later.

It’s important to note that, unlike the main Borderlands games, each individual class only has one skill tree, which you’ll focus on until you choose a secondary class. Each class also has two action skills and a class feat.

Once you’ve chosen a secondary class, you’ll have two skill trees, two class feats, and four action skills – although the fourth action skill will need to be unlocked by upgrading your Fatemaker.

If you want to learn more about the classes – including their action skills, class feats, and passive skills – visit the official Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands website.

Character Background in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Explained

Your character history provides buffs or debuffs to certain hero stats in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – adding or subtracting the initial 10 hero points you get for each stat. There are five character backgrounds to choose from, and you select them after customizing your Recipient.

It’s a good idea to try to match your character’s background with your chosen class; the Village Idiot character background, for example, is a good choice for the Clawbringer class thanks to the way it boosts your strength stat, which is an important stat for this class.

If you want to know which hero stat is the best for each class, visit the next section.

Multiclass in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands explained

As you progress through Tiny Tina Wonderland, you will eventually unlock the ability to multiclass and have a secondary class. For us, this option unlocked after completing the “Emotion of the Ocean” mission when we were at level 13.

We unlocked the secondary class after completing “Emotion of the Ocean”.

After choosing your secondary class, you will have access to its skill tree, class achievement, and action skills. It’s important to note that, for us, the second action skill is unlocked at level 17, so you may need to level up a bit to get full access to your secondary class abilities.

You can also now invest hero points into the skill tree of your secondary classes, allowing you to add more passive skills to your rooster.

We recommend taking the time to carefully consider your secondary class – do you want to have a couple that complement each other or the ability to increase a specific type of damage? You can also choose a class to only unlock a specific action skill or class achievement, such as unlocking the Spore Warden’s Mushroom Companion.

After completing the main campaign, you will unlock the ability to change secondary class, but do not your primary class.

Tips for choosing your class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Here are some tips that will help you create your Fatemaker in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands:

  • Consider the type of fight you prefer to play. If, for example, you prefer ranged combat, the Spellshot class is a much better choice than the Brr-Zerker class.
  • Read Action Skills and Class Achievement carefully, because you rely on them a lot, especially Action Skills.
  • If you want to know the passive skills of each class, visit the Classes page on the official Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands website.
  • Take the time to look at all six classes to get an idea of which one you’d like as a secondary class once you’ve unlocked the multiclass ability.
  • Be sure to invest hero points in the preferred hero stats of your chosen classes.
  • Remember that you can go back and forth in character creation mode. This means that if your character’s background affects your classes’ preferred hero stats, you can easily change it.
  • You can always experiment with the different classes – play the opening hour to understand their fighting style – before creating your real Fatemaker. It can also help you choose your secondary class.

Have fun in Tiny Tina’s wonderland!
