Activision’s anti-cheat software is running hot! In a single month, 23,000 cheaters fell victim to the ban hammer in Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
The studio “Team RICOCHET” responsible for the algorithm in Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III recently announced knownthat over 23,000 accounts were suspended for policy violations in a single month.
The cheaters’ software is constantly changing and the RICOCHET team cannot afford to stand still, so machine learning will soon help in the future to make the system faster, better and more intelligent.
This should also be used to eliminate the system’s own errors. There are problems here, such as players being banned for no reason whatsoever. Exactly when it will be used was not explained.
