Kick off 2022 for Rocket League with the first event of the year called “Neon Nights” which, despite sounding similar, has nothing to do with the Black Sabbath song. The event will start on January 26 and will be available until February 8, allowing all participants to unlock a number of cosmetic items.
The theme of the event will have as its central axis GRIMES, an electropop artist who has collaborated with Psyonix in some aspects of the game, so all the unlockables will be directly related to the performer, for example in two songs that can be selected at use as an anthem: “Shinigami Eyes” or “Player of Games”.

Along with this event, the bounce mode of heat detector returns so that with each bounce the ball gets incredibly faster and harder to control. Quite a pass.
The Lunar New Year will also be celebrated in-game with the free Year of the Tiger Pack which can be claimed from the in-game store and includes the Tiny Tiger Ornament and Tyger Sticker.
Rocket League is already a game free to play so you can play on your Xbox, so if you haven’t tried it yet, you can do so now and at no cost. Of course, vice can catch you.
