In the trailer we can see the uses that this new weapon will have. We will be able to carry out long-range attacks in which we will completely destroy our enemy. It also seems that its use at medium range for the most powerful enemies. We liked seeing the dynamism the crossbow provides, as in one of the scenes shown, Amicia makes quick use of the weapon as she moves around. Just like we had different types of projectiles with the slingshot in the first episode, it looks like the crossbow will also have variety in projectiles. In this sense, we have been able to see the use of incendiary projectiles to directly burn our enemy or the area in which he is.
Another use this crossbow will offer is the possibility of attaching the arrow to a rope to hook it to elements of the map and be able to interact with them, stretching to be able to knock them down. The possibilities that the use of alchemy can offer with this new weapon seems to open up more elements within our reach to advance the story, whether through the use of stealth or the purest action. .
We will have to wait next october 18 to be able to enjoy this new episode of A Plague Tale: Requiem. We will have it available for Xbox Series X/S, PC, Ps5 and Nintendo Switch cloud versions.
