2022 is off to a strong start. Not only have we already received the first big title of the year, as we told you in our Rainbow Six Extraction review, but this new solar cycle kicked off with the takeover of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft. A historic agreement that br ings the number of Redmond studios to 31, in addition to becoming owners of games like Call of Duty.
Of all the studios that are now part of Xbox Game Studios, it stands out SledgeHammer, one of the teams in charge of the Call of Duty saga. A study that seems to be clear on what he would like to work on now that they belong to Xbox.
¿Doom and manos the SledgeHammer?
That dream job would be Doom, as one of the company’s developers said on his personal Twitter. A logical and normal desire, since Doom is one of the most appreciated and beloved IPs in the industry, in addition to being a license that matches the theme of the studio’s work: shooters
Loss. I want to work on Doom.

The IP is currently in the hands of ID Software, which has done a terrific job with the latest games, such as Doom Eternal. Therefore, he is also from Microsoft and it wouldn’t be crazy if SledgeHammer could get their hands and their talents on the license.
