Here we have always shown a special affection for the Xbox 360, its catalog, its power and its enormous quality are for many what has made the Xbox have a place in their hearts. It was the brand’s most successful console so far, with over 80 million units sold. But it may have to step aside and make way for the Xbox Series X | S, since Aaron Greenberg just confirmed Xbox Series sales figures with a tweet.
In the tweet he used for this, he quoted the famous VgChartz, which continues to offer sales estimates for all platforms, but so far Xbox Series sales figures. And we started by comparing them with the Xbox 360, because in 18 months of operation of the machine, It has already sold almost 4 and a half million more than it.
Thank you to everyone who has helped support the growth and adoption of Xbox so far this generation. There is a lot of work ahead of us and hopefully the offer continues to improve globally as well. https://t.co/4J4PVDOexb

Excellent Xbox Series sales figures
It’s a bit of an odd precedent from a Microsoft that went years without giving out sales figures for its consoles after announcing that they would only focus on users and the services offered. Obviously, the Xbox Game Pass numbers are getting almost bigger, but it never hurts to know how many Xbox Series are sold worldwide, now numbered at almost 14 million, thanks to this “relative” confirmation from Greenberg.
