While Microsoft’s acquisition process is underway, Activision-Blizzard still has many issues to resolve. There have been many complaints about the company’s reliance on temporary contracts or contractors. This was especially true for everything related to the quality assurance process: the testers.
1100 full-time positions
We learn today that Activision has decided to work on this issue. To this end, no fewer than 1,100 full-time temporary or contract workers have been hired. This corresponds to an increase in the number of employees by 25%. The minimum wage for these employees will also increase to $20 an hour, with access to company benefits. As a reminder, Activision had already made such a switch in December, albeit on a smaller scale with 500 posts.
