For a minimum of 3 hours, Epic Games Store users have been facing a series of errors and issues when trying to access the store. The first of them unfortunately still activeAnd it doesn’t look like it’s going to be fixed anytime soon. This is an authentication failure with Facebook, which prevents customers from accessing their account if it was linked to the social network.
You can imagine the problem, if you have purchased games and your account is linked to Facebook, you will not be able to access it until the incident is resolved. You also can’t log in to claim this week’s free games, so hold on. The good thing is that Epic is already with this issue, but it’s unclear when it will be fixed.
Serious issues on the Epic Games Store
The second, which is the one that concerns us at the moment, was solved less than an hour ago, and is very similar to the previous one. You couldn’t access your account, regardless of the service you used to log in. Neither with the native form of the EGS. This made, once again, You couldn’t buy the free games either.
From Epic’s official support account, they posted a tweet stating that the issue is now resolved. It may still be available in your region as these patches are released in batches and take some time to distribute. Have a little patience.
