After Microsoft bought Bethesda, many people thought another move of this size wouldn’t happen for many years, but the reality is that shortly after a year, Microsoft announced the purchase of Activision. That of Bethesda is already completely formalized and these already belong to Microsoft and the second bureaucratic problems are still missing, but it will not take long to confirm 100% too much, it will be during this year.

Other companies that have always had a great relationship with Microsoft are Ubisoft. The French company has always been alongside those of Redmond since the launch of the first Xbox and it is not the first time

who related them in a more “intimate” way to the point that there had been rumors that Microsoft would take over the company. At the moment there is nothing firm, Microsoft is currently in all the trouble of acquiring a company like Activision, so if Ubisoft comes after, it would still take time for this hypothetical case to happen.

Bethesda, Activision, Ubisoft?

VentureBeat Journalist, Jeff Grubbknown to follow Microsoft news thoroughly, explained what happened after the takeover of Activision by Microsoft, he defines it as a domino effect given the figures and the movements that were taking shape.

When I said earlier this year that every company in the industry was freaking out over the Activision acquisition, I meant it. That doesn’t mean Microsoft wants to acquire anyone, though. I just know that every company, at the time, was carefully considering its position on a possible merger or acquisition opportunity.

As we commented in the previous lines, Grubb also sees that it’s unlikely that Microsoft without completing the closing of the Activision acquisition will spoil another the size of Ubisoft, so for now it’s time to wait and see what moves the company can make in the years to come. .

When I said earlier this year that all companies were freaking out over the acquisition of ATVI, I meant it. This does not mean that MS buys anyone. Just that each company was thinking about its position regarding a possible acquisition and/or merger. https://t.co/BCyzDq7Lo8
