After Microsoft bought Bethesda, many people thought another move of this size wouldn’t happen for many years, but the reality is that shortly after a year, Microsoft announced the purchase of Activision. When I said earlier this year that every company in the industry was freaking out over the Activision acquisition, I meant it. That doesn’t mean Microsoft wants to acquire anyone, though. I just know that every company, at the time, was carefully considering its position on a possible merger or acquisition opportunity.
As we commented in the previous lines, Grubb also sees that it’s unlikely that Microsoft without completing the closing of the Activision acquisition will spoil another the size of Ubisoft, so for now it’s time to wait and see what moves the company can make in the years to come. .
