Assassin’s Creed is one of Ubisoft’s most prestigious and award-winning franchises. A saga that in 2023 will begin a new path with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, a return to the original formula. So, after the so-called antiquity trilogy (Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla), the Assassin’s Creed returns to a fan-favorite formula.
But it’s not the only game on the horizon, since a few months ago Ubisoft presented us with its plans with the franchise. And among them was Assassin’s Cred Codename Red, the project that would finally bring the creed to Japan, a place that players have been in high demand for almost since the beginning of the saga.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Red reportedly slated for release in 2024
Little is known about this future game other than its location, the codename of the project, and a brief image with which it was presented. However, and according to a LinkedIn profileAssassin’s Creed Codename Red could be released in 2024. In other words, next year we could enjoy this experience in feudal Japan.
The profile belongs to Arisa Lagunzad, Head of Business Development and Brand Association at Ubisoft, where she notes that they are currently “looking for a sponsor partner for this Assassin’s Creed Codename Red title for next year.”
