We learn that the French publisher Atari has acquired more than a hundred retro licenses! Games mostly from Infogrames, Accolades and Microprose catalogs from the 80’s and 90’s. Names that will surely appeal to a large segment of the public that grew up during this period. Among the licenses we find Bubsyseries Demolition Racer or hard ball. So much for some, but Atari is far from revealing all the titles!
This decision seems to be due to the success of the compilation Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration. An extraordinary compilation of retro titles tested by us.
Many of these games are part of Atari’s history, and fans can look forward to re-releases or even some ports to modern consoles. In addition, physical and digital versions are planned, possible new episodes and merchandising developments.
