The game is available on Xbox Game Pass.
Released last October on Xbox and PlayStation consoles and on PC, Back 4 Blood is a huge success. Turtle Rock Studios and publisher Warner Bros Games have announced that the title has more than ten million players. Although it is not specified, its presence in the Xbox Game Pass since its launch should logically help to reach this milestone.
The two entities congratulated each other on this achievement. In reality, Steve Goldstein, president and CEO of Turtle Rock Studios, addressed the issue in a press release. He also announced that there will be new DLC coming soon.
“Reaching this milestone in the short time since the release of Back 4 Blood is a significant miles tone for our studio and this franchise. Looking ahead, we’re excited to build on our momentum with our next expansion, ‘Tunnels of Terror’, which will deliver more co-op content for fans to continue enjoying.”
This additional content will arrive on April 12 and will present seven new maze levels and a new species of infected. These missions will give you access to exclusive equipment. In addition, will be added two playable charactersSharice and Heng.
Additionally, this DLC will grant access to soft unique skins and new maps and weapons. The good news is that all of Tunnel of Terror’s playable content will be accessible in co-op mode. if at least one person owns the extension.
As a side note, no microtransactions will be introduced through this DLC or in the future. Finally, on April 12, the developers will also add a “Hopeless” difficulty mode for players looking for a challenge.
