The first look at Shattered Space, the first expansion in Starfield’s history, was shown during the latest Xbox Game Showcase. Bethesda’s new IP will expand its content with this first additional narrative story, in addition to the countless content contributed by the community via mods.
But this is only the beginning since, as Todd Howard confirmed, Bethesda’s idea is to launch an annual expansion.

In a conversation with Mr MattyPlays, Bethesda’s game director confirmed that They are already working on the second Starfield expansion. Starfield is now available on Xbox Series X|S and PC, in addition to being included in Xbox Game Pass. Additionally, Shattered Space, its first narrative expansion, will arrive at the end of the year, which promises to be the start of a long road of additional content.
