Bioshock 4 could have an open world and decision making

The Bioshock trilogy came to an end over 7 years ago, but it is still considered one of the best sagas the video game world has given us. Thanks to an excellent narrative, the unforgettable Rapture (even if it is only the protagonist of the first two games) and a very fun gameplay, Bioshock is totally a must-have for any player.

Fans have been clamoring for Bioshock 4 for years now, and the news that this sequel will be picked up by a new studio has been widely applauded. Thanks precisely to a series of job postings from Cloud Chambers, we were able to learn some very interesting new information about this new Bioshock.

Bioshock 4 would have completely new elements for the saga

More specifically, we are referring to three new job offers for: Senior voice designer , AI game programmer Yes Senior Systems Designer. In the content of these offerings we can see how, for example, Bioshock 4 will be narrative oriented, with a ‘dialogue system’, so that we can see a decision component in the game (something that is not stranger to the saga). In addition, his universe would be “sandbox typeWhich seems to hint at something more open world.

Perhaps most interesting is the work for AI, which they describe as “a significant urban AI crowd system and the systemic tribal ecology of a sometimes hostile AI.”

These types of offers indicate that the game is still at a very early stage in its development, so it will undoubtedly take some time to see it in motion.
