We have some information on Call of Duty 2024, whose official title was revealed as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6courtesy of Insider games. The most important thing is that this game is supposed to be open world.
However, This won’t be the first time the series features an open-world campaign, as the first glimpse of what such a campaign could be was first explored with Modern Warfare 3 and its open-world missions. However, sources explained that unlike Modern Warfare 3, The campaign for this installment was created from scratch, instead of using resources from previous installments.
Currently, the game’s open world will allow the player and their team to move across a map more similar to that of Far Cry than anything we’ve seen before in the Call of Duty universe. Players will be able to use vehicles to get around, as well as a fast travel system to get from one point to another. While the full extent of the number of campaign missions remains to be seen, sources have confirmed that some linear missions will be integrated into the game.
The official Xbox Twitter account also confirmed the name and that the live broadcast after its main presentation will indeed focus on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
