Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth takes place between the first film and its sequel, Blade Runner 2049after the “failure”. After the events of the short film Blade Runner Black Out 2022, the world collapsed and the production of replicants ceased. However, the Wallace Corporation acquires the mythical Tyrell, developing the Nexus 8 model. Ten years later, a new model goes into production, which is presumably where it begins.
