With the Indie Box, the entire XboxSquad editorial team offers you mini reviews of very little known or featured indie games. While some don’t deserve to step out of the shadows of the Xbox Marketplace, others might be worth a look. That is the whole subject of this section.
Responsible for irrigating small plots of land in the middle of the ocean, your mission in cube builder prompts you to position one or more water cubes correctly. The idea, of course, is to manage to synchronize each individual’s movements to implant them in the right direction.
That said, it doesn’t sound very complicated. A water cube, a hole, four moves and nothing else. But things get complicated very quickly.
Despite this, the game isn’t very difficult and if you like the genre, it won’t resist you for long.. The 40 levels of the title are traversed in just a few hours with relaxing music. A good way to decompress between two AAAs.
I appreciated:
- The relaxing soundtrack
- The challenge of certain levels
I’m sorry :
- Very limited replayability
