The Hunt for Makarov
Immediately after the events of Modern Warfare IICaptain Price, Ghost and the rest of Task Force 141 continue their hunt for ultra-nationalist Vladimir Makarov, taking them around the world in this gripping single-player campaign. I won’t spoil anything for you here, but the events will have lasting consequences for the Modern Warfare universe.

Player progression has also evolved, with new and familiar extras, killstreaks and equipment to unlock. With each level, you become a stronger and more tactically versatile operator, giving you more options on the battlefield. In addition to your usual weapons and attachments MWIII also introduces after-market parts that allow you to further customize your weapons. And if you’ve played MII Multiplayer, MWIII The carry-forward feature allows you to transfer much of your content and weapon progress.
Explore the Dark Aether
Prepare to fight and survive against zombie hordes in the biggest Call of Duty Zombies map ever! In this cooperative PvE mining mode, you and your squad will head to the outskirts of a contaminated Urzikstan as part of Operation: Deadbolt. As you complete contracts, raid strongholds, and venture deeper into the map, the zombies you encounter will become stronger and more relentless. The best loot and darkest secrets hide in these higher-tier areas, but you’ll still need to escape safely if you want to keep your gear and fight another day. Thankfully, you’ll have access to plenty of classic zombie upgrades, including Perk-a-Colas, Ammo Mods, the Pack-a-Punch machine, and (if you’re lucky) the powerful and infamous Wonder Weapons.
Zombies aren’t the only things roaming this contaminated area, though. The mercenaries of Terminus Outcomes have set up bases in Urzikstan alongside their elite warlords. Oh, and did we mention the special zombies and bosses? There’s plenty more to discover, but we’ll leave that up for you to discover.
