There last general meeting of shareholders by Capcom hope rekindled that soon we will be able to enjoy the new adventures of the blue bomber. The spokesman of the Japanese company has once again indicated that Mega Man is one of the company’s most important IPs and that “they plan to release new games regularly.”

A long-awaited return
Mega Man has been present with various compilations in recent years, although completely new deliveries have been rare, to be generous. Mega Man 9 in 2008 and Mega Man 10 in 2010 were the retro-style titles in an 8-bit aesthetic that closed the NES saga and could be considered new, but not from a visual point of view, something that would come with Mega Man 11 in 2018, the last major opus of the character over the past 15 years.

According to Capcom itself, the Mega Man saga has sold over 38 million games in its 36 years of existence, a history that we hope will continue to grow year after year with new editions for the enjoyment of a classic audience and new generations.
