“You deserve better”- 1047 studios reacts to massive rush and catastrophic server and connection problems in Splitgate 2.
At the start of the Open Beta of Splitgate 2, there were massive server problems, which prevented numerous players preventing from logging into the game or experiencing stable matches.
Ian Proulx, co -founder and CEO of developer studio 1047 Studios, has now apologized to the technical difficulties.
In an official statement, Proulx admitted that the server infrastructure was not up to the enormous rush. Those responsible had expected great interest, but the actual extent exceeded all expectations.
“You deserve a smooth gaming experience and we are working hard to ensure that,” said Proulx.
