For Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, the goal and even the first stretch goals were reached after a few days.
In less than four days, the Kickstarter campaign for Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone has reached its goal. Now everyone can pack their backpacks, Geiger counters and stalker gear and head back to the Exclusion Zone, because the gamers have spoken even louder.
There are already 1,400 supporters Project on Kickstarter supported, and this number is increasing every hour. The original goal of EUR 95,000 was reached much faster than the first Chernobylite campaign in 2019, which took almost two weeks to fund.
Thanks to this, the developers can now focus on developing the alternate first-person combat mode, which allows you to play the game in any style you like. Whether you're a fan of classic third-person RPGs or modern first-person adventures, you should be able to experience Chernobylite 2 in a way that feels most natural to you.
They've also reached their first stretch goals, meaning the additional support will allow some additional features and content to be added to the game, including all first-person weapons from the original Chernobylite. Yes, Blaster, Crossbow, and Makarov will be there, among other familiar and beloved “toys” that will be back in your arsenal.
