Find out in a video comparison how Cyberpunk 2077 fares on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and other consoles in terms of frame rate and performance.

The dystopian city of Night City is open to you from today, because Cyberpunk 2077 is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Google Stadia after several postponements. With backward compatibility, the shooter can also be played on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5, albeit without a next-gen upgrade.

Resero has recorded in a comparison video how the performance of the action role-playing game is going on the different consoles.

The Microsoft consoles Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One S as well as the Sony consoles PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 were compared with each other. Cyberpunk 2077 also has two different modes on the two new Xbox consoles with “Performance” and “Quality” .

As you can see from the video, the Xbox One S does the worst in terms of FPS. Around 20 FPS are only achieved here. On the Xbox One X and Xbox Series S, however, it is around 30 FPS.

In performance mode Cyberpunk 2077 on the Xbox Series X will almost always hold 60 FPS, while in quality mode it will be a constant 30 FPS.

With the Sony consoles, the PlayStation 4 performs with up to 30 FPS. The Playstation 5 almost always delivers 60 FPS.

According to the video, in addition to the obvious FPS, the differences between Xbox’s “Performance” and “Quality” modes are in lighting, shadows, and reflections, which are more pronounced in “Quality” mode.

Check out the video for more impressions and comparisons. There the individual consoles are compared and analyzed using different scenes.
