The Sakurajima update for Palworld saw a 700% increase in concurrent players on Steam.
A brand new island, new Pals, and an arena for PvP battles are just some of the new content Palworld received for free with last week’s Sakurajima update.
The game’s biggest update to date saw an extraordinary increase in players.
Measured on the Steam platform, the number of players has increased by more than 700%. From a peak of 15,000 simultaneous players, the update reached more than 130,000.
At launch in January, the game reached more than 2.1 million concurrent players, a figure that is unlikely to be reached again.
