Blizzard President Mike Ybarra announces that two DDoS attacks have taken place against Blizzard surveillance 2 last night. This leads to premature disconnections and the inability to join a game.
A DDos attack is a deliberate way to crash servers. The “hackers” send a large number of artificial connections at once, which overloads the servers and causes various problems when playing the game.
Blizzard teams are working to resolve the issue and will let us know as soon as possible.
