Really, Xbox is not doing things by halves right now to please gamers from all walks of life! For example, fans of real-time strategy games already know that Age of Empires, the most emblematic license in the genre, will be back in a fourth episode very soon! But it’s not that sequel we’re talking about today, it’s the incredible monitoring Microsoft teams have been doing on the game since the first three games were updated.

Indeed, Age of Empires II Not only has it got a nice facelift to its Definitive Edition, but also got new content that is pretty insane for a game that is about to burn its 22nd candle. For example, there are new civilizations and campaigns to extend the lifespan, but also new game modes. In terms of modes too, the game made a lot of noise during the last Age of Empires event, with the announcement of an online cooperative mode that allows 2 players to work together to defeat the enemy. .

Good news that has been long awaited Co-op is now available ! Whether on Windows 10 or Steam, all you have to do is update Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition and access no fewer than 33 new missions spread across 6 campaigns. That’s not all ! You also have access to 5 historical battles that you can also experience with an ally. The life is wonderful, is not it?

How do I play Age of Empire in co-op mode?

To play Age of Empires II’s 2-player campaign mode online, it’s easy! There is now a “co-op” button available right from the main game menu. Note that you can also access this mode directly from the Solo menu (you will then need to click on “Campaigns” and “Co-op Campaigns”) and from the Multiplayer menu (you will need to “Host a game” and “A custom Create co-op game ”.
