The first installment of the Crash series in more than 10 years, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s about time picks up after the events of Crash Bandicoot: Twisted as Neo Cortex and the wicked Tropy escape from their different prison. He hears about the story of one player like Crash or Coco and strives to prevent these careless villains from conquering all the different sizes.
Read carefully what to expect as you jump, turn around, run the wall, grind the tracks, and blow up every visible case in an effort to save the universe.
Crash Bandicoot 4: Available Now on Xbox One
Take Neo Cortex, N.Tropy, and the dangers of repetition like Crash or Coco in this new adventure. Select your bandicoot and line up in modern or Retro mode. In Modern, if your Bandicoot dies and gains angel wings, you will restart in checkpoints. In Retro, lives are captured, though much can be collected at the level, and when you run out, you’ll restart the level at the beginning.
In any mode, next to the jumping and crashing case, the bandicoots have new movement features such as wall-to-wall, rail, and rope wrapping. Use your new skills to master the platforms, collect Wumpa fruit, and complete the level.
Players can switch between Modern or Retro at any time on the gameplay options screen and the gameplay does not affect gameplay difficulty or leak progress. Choose the mode that’s best for you, whether you’re a long-time fan of the series or just got acquainted with Crash and Coco.
Quantum Masks – Save Time and Space
Fighting for diversity requires that Crash and Coco receive all the help they receive. Include Masks, Quantum Masks, time and space strikers raised to help Crash and Coco in their battle against Neo Cortex and N. Tropy. Quantum Masks offer special abilities that allow our brave bandicoots to bend the rules of truth and overcome the most dangerous obstacles to set up platforms. Collect one of the masks during the level to give Crash or Coco a skill upgrade:
- Lani-Loli (Phase Shift Mask) – Case case with obstacles in and out of life.
- Akano (Dark Black) – Call for more power to break the hardened boxes.
- Mask Time – Quick time to disassemble fast platforms and avoid enemies.
- Ika-Ika (Gravity Mask) – Despise physics by investigating gravity to move through the roof and back down.
Hear Adventure Fresh with Timeline
Crash and Coco are the first line of defense in saving various items, but they are not the only major crash creatures you can play. If you hit certain levels with Crash or Coco, another version of its timeline is available, allowing you to replay past events from another character’s point of view. Time levels are different and are designed for each character’s abilities.
Borrow Crash and Coco by hand and play Tawna lines to connect the gun to the wall and cross your path through the most courageous challenges.
Transformed from his evil life, play like Dingodile and blow up the case with enemies. His skills include a swipe tail and a multi-purpose gun to cut off deceptive platforms and make things explode.
Or join the bad side and play like Neo Cortex. Use ray’s villain to turn unconscious creatures into solid or bouncy platforms. Avoid the pitfalls with his in-air dash and revisit the news items from the perspective of the bad guy.
Pass’ N Play with Friends
Grab some buds and pull out your competitive side in Bandicoot Battle for a single local controller. Compete with up to four players in Checkpoint races where speed is king or Crate Combo where points are calculated by crashing the boxes. You can deal with the game story together on Pass’ N Play in standard (Modern / Retro) levels or V Verted mode.
Collect Gems, Find Skins
Look for something new in the next N mind of diversity with wacky skins to match every emotion and event. Skins are acquired by completing level challenges and collecting gems, with skin available to benefit from each level. Players can find gems in normal play and collect additional gems when playing in N mode. Verted. Look good, marsupial.

A challenging turn to traditional mirror modes, Bob’s toys teamed up with Beenox to develop a new N mode. Levels of N. Verted incorporates new distinctive art styles such as the old film reel and sometimes creates new game challenges when re-leveling.
Get the start of Crash, Coco, and Neo Cortex when you unlock Flashback levels. Get Flashback tapes spread across all levels on the main road to the 90s and experience Crash and Coco training in Neo Cortex’s test rooms. Flashback tapes can only be collected if you can reach their destination without dying and you will be rewarded with some of the most difficult Cortex puzzles found in the past.
