It’s been a long time since the last major release of the most beloved saga of Criteria sets: Burnout. It was in 2008 when it was launched Heavena delivery critically acclaimedbut what failed to translate into very good sales. The same thing happened with its remaster in 2018.
The latest release from the studio was Need for speed rivals
Kieran Criimminsstudio veteran and creative director of Unboundcommented through an interview granted to Eurogamer What they would be delighted to work at Burnout. Unfortunately, however, it seems no “immediate plans” yet
It also says that if so, they should expand the team to be able to process both sagas at the same time. It’s something that this can happen if your versions are “working fine”but make sure of course Criterion’s next work will not be a Burnout
