It is official, Warframe entitles to cross-play and cross-save. Digital Extremes, developer of the game, announced the information at TennoCon 2021. These features will be available later this year with no further details. Whether you’re playing on Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, or mobile device, you can team up with your friends.
Through the voice of its COO Sheldon Carter, the studio spoke about the importance of making these options available to Warframe:
Opening up cross-play and cross-save is just one of many efforts we’ll be making to bring more players together, including expanding Warframe’s fast and smooth combat experience to other platforms around the world.
As a reminder, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are regularly entitled to bundles offered as perks. Currently, the Excalibur Jade Pack can be downloaded at no additional cost and offers new customization items.
Finally, a short trailer was released celebrating the information. In addition, the GameSpot media captured the passage of TennoCon 2021, during which the developers demonstrate these two functions. You can find the passage in question in the second video below.
