Dead by Daylight: Steady Pulse introduces first aider Orela Rose as new survivors
In her life as a paramedic, Orela Rose devoted herself to the task of being the light that helps the patient with her darkest moments.
Risk rescue campaigns, cruel injuries and screams of pain were part of their everyday work. Now, lost in the trials of entity, their skills and determination are put to the test like never before.
Available from now on via the public test building on Steam and officially on May 6th, Dead by Daylight: Steady Pulse presents Orela Rose as the latest survival of the game.
Mercy under fire
Orela is a truly selfless survivor with a suitable perk set and represents a calming presence in the middle of the chaos; She heals wounds, helps teammates to be the risk of being one step ahead, and even stands between them and safe death.
Driven by the memory of her best friend Emily, who suffered a fatal electric shock when performing in an interactive spook house, Orela broke her studies to take a new career as a paramedic.
With her unique ability to donate consolation and help to people, she quickly realized that she had found her calling.
After saving the life of a billionaire who thanked her and Emily's former dream project, she started the theme restaurant Screams in the Dark.
Despite her success, Orela never forgotten her friend and held her memory in honor by answering every call for help that was possible for her … until one day she followed the same screaming in the fog.
Orela is more than just a healer, she is the ideal support for the survivors. If your teammates need you, she is ready to save life – or to die.
It has a perk set that enables her to heal at great speed, the more at stake, to put on protection hits to ensure the safety of others, and to risk body and life to provide their team with important information.
Archives further developed
The archives of Dead by Daylight have been around since 2019 and offer players countless opportunities to challenge themselves and unlock rewards, outfits and knowledge.
With the publication of Steady Pulse, the archives are undergoing a revision in order to create a better, more streamlined experience for those who want more.
In the future, the archives will be referred to as “The Rift” and the challenges contained therein will be mentioned “quests”.
In contrast to the challenges, the players no longer have to select quests before they can plunge into an exam. All types of quests (daily, weekly, milestone and event) are also active, which makes it faster and easier to earn rewards and increase power in The Rift.
The players will even have the opportunity to “attach” certain quests so that they can be followed in the middle of the exam with a simple click on the break button.
