Blizzard announces details about the first Diablo 4 update.
Diablo 4 may not be released until June 6th, but buyers of the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition could start playing as early as June 1st.
Blizzard has now announced details about the first update of the . The update only takes place on the server side. In other words, the update does not have to be downloaded to your console or PC.
In addition to adjustments to the wizard and rogue classes, there are also some bug fixes and minor changes. For example, enemies have more life in higher world tiers.

HOTFIX 2 – JUNE 2, 2023 – 1.0.2
A server-side hotfix was rolled out tonight. Server-side hotfixes run in the background and do not require a client-side patch.
Gameplay Changes
- The drop rate for the Elixir of Death Evasion recipe has been reduced to 0 after it has already been learned.
Troubleshooting
- Fixed an issue where items would inherit the junk status of gems socketed within them.
- Fixed an issue where Wizards could teleport underground in the Serpent Walk.
- Various stability and crash fixes.
