The American actors’ union has called for a strike, but the actors of Grand Theft Auto VI are not affected.
SAG-AFTRA (American Actors’ Union) called for a strike on July 26 after failing to negotiate protections against the use of AI for its members.
Concern quickly spread that this also involved the acting and voiceover work on Grand Theft Auto VI.

It is now clear that this strike will have no impact on work on the latest installment in the GTA series.
Fans can still look forward to a timely release in fall 2025.
