The success of Devil May Cry 5 It is absolutely indisputable. The last episode of the famous franchise Hack and slash With Dante and his people appreciated a such an exceptional criticism As for its quality, which it ended up having fortunately translated by sales. The title appears on the list of “”Platinum titles“” (Platinum titles) on the official Capcom website. On this list, only the work of the Japanese company which exceeded millions of sales are included Over time. And the fifth numbered delivery of one of the sagas Hack and slash By excellence is one of those who have managed to appear here.
But the truth is that Devil May Cry 5 He was not “alone” in the first million sales. Capcom He has just updated figures and the thing goes much further. More specifically, 9 million beyond. And the total sales has reached the 10.1 million units From its release date, in 2019, until March 31 of this year, with its remastering Special edition (which adds 1 million). Just From January to March managed to sell 200,000 othersSurely due to numerous offers at the demolition price. Without a doubt, a milestone only for very little.
