“Update 1.3.5. introduces Ray Tracing to all supported platforms »

Blizzard presented its latest update for Diablo IV, just as the title arrives on Xbox Game Pass. Update 1.3.5 “introduces Ray Tracing technology to all supported platforms”with Other graphical tweaks and improvements.

Shadows and highlights were added with Ray Tracing technologyin addition to improvements to ambient occlusion and changes to various visual fields. You can check out all of this news on the Blizzard websitewith its corresponding animated images for comparison purposes.

The option to enable Ray Tracing in Diablo IV is only available on Xbox Series X and PS5although no specific mention has yet been seen of the Xbox Series S. Given the requirements of Ray Tracing and the “lesser” console’s history with this technology, it is to be expected that the Series S is not compatible with this option.

On consoles that support Ray Tracing, you will need to go to the options menu and apply “Graphics Quality” in the Graphics tab to see these improvements. Of course, this change will lock the game at 30 FPS on console.
