Digital art gallery celebrates 11th anniversary of the NieR series and release of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.
Square Enix unveiled one today digital art gallery. This contains 11 works of art, which were created exclusively by artists from all over the world to celebrate the release of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 … and the 11th anniversary of the NieR series. A complete list of all participating artists is available below.
Each of these works of art presents the unique style of the respective artist and pays tribute to the legendary hero from the NieR series, loved by millions of players worldwide. The works capture the complex and melancholy atmosphere of NieR in a contemporary style and can be found in their own area on the official NieR website to be viewed as.
Square Enix worked with the French paper gallery together – an online gallery specializing in screen printing, pop culture, music, and street art. The French Paper Art Club works with official licenses and selected artists from around the world who use video games, films and comics as the basis for their work.

- Førtifem (France)
Førtifem was created through the creative collaboration between Jesse Daubertes and Adrien Havet. Both Jesse and Adrien worked as graphic designers before they came together under a common name. The artist duo creates illustrations, which are mainly created on paper and by hand. So the two developed a unique style that is not only reminiscent of stunning tattoo designs, but also reminds of detailed old engravings. - Lorenzo De Felici (Italy)
After a few years in the film industry, Lorenzo settled in Rome, Italy, to work from there as a full-time comic artist with an American publisher. He is currently working with Robert Kirkman (author of “The Walking Dead”) on a project called “Oblivion Song”. - The Marquis (Europe)
Adria Marquès is an illustrator and graphic designer from Barcelona. His work consists mainly of illustrations for books and magazines, as well as designs for brands. He also designs the covers of music albums, posters and merchandise for bands and music labels. With his unique vintage style, he has already made a name for himself as a brand. - Guy-Pascal Vallez (France)
Guy-Pascal Vallez (also known as GAX) is not only a French illustrator and comic book artist, but also an RPG enthusiast. When designing his own worlds, characters, and monsters, he already has polished and complete narratives in mind. With watercolors he gives his works a colorful, unique touch. - Ammunition (Belgium)
Ammo studied both applied and fine arts in France. He now lives in Brussels, where he works as an illustrator and poster designer. He works with narrow lines, small dots, graphite, ink and (of course) loud music. - Alex Wezta (Russia)
Alex is a Russian artist who lives in the port city of Arkhangelsk and is known for his stunning medieval-style icon painting and Roman-themed art. With special care for the structures and architecture in his drawings, he lets his works of art appear alive. - Nicolas Côme (France)
Nicolas Côme (also known as Sinpiggyhead) is a tattoo artist and illustrator from Paris, France. He draws his inspiration from mangas, dinosaurs, video games, superheroes, film genres, music and tattoos. In this way he creates his own parallel universe, which is characterized by darkness, but also melancholy and fun. The use of black dots is characteristic of his style. - Rob Bowyer (United Kingdom)
Rob Bowyer (also known as MassiveFace) lives in the UK and likes skulls, dark cyberpunk and fantasy characters. He has already made a name for himself as a highly respected artist in the fantasy illustration industry with his unique drawing style. He is also known as a passionate gamer. - Guillaume Singelin (France)
When it comes to the new wave of French illustrators, it’s clear to say that Guillaume is at the forefront. With “Bande-dessinée” (comics and graphic novels) as inspiration, Guillaume presents a mix of Japanese mangas and US indie illustrations in his works. His artistic talent cannot be overlooked in his comic strips. - Nikita Kaun (Russia)
Nikita Kaun is a Russian artist from Saint Petersburg. Due to his surrealism, his illustrations seem almost hypnotic and let the viewer sink into a kind of dream world. He prefers to mix black and white textures with minimal use of color. His works of art could already be admired in international exhibitions. - Francesca Pusceddu (Scotland)
Francesca is an artist of Spanish origin and lives in Glasgow, Scotland. In her work, she makes use of traditional means of illustration art and applies them to modern subjects. Her approach can be described as multi-technical, as she processes hand-drawn works with digital software, for example.
